Hi! I'm Leaf! I'm a self taught digital artist. I love to draw cute things and occasionally animate. I'm also learning how to program. I've developed a passion for robotics, and I am a proud member of Team 3598!

I built this website to get experience with web development, to showcase my artwork and share my journey as both an artist and a future engineer.

Solar Regatta

Hosted by

The Junior class of The School of Engineering and Sciences won the Solar Regatta event. The team built a solar powered boat and competed against other teams in Rancho Seco. Roles: Lead Artist, Commmunications Lead, Boat Driver, Spirit Contributor, Boat Design Contributor.

Frequently Asked Questions

I prefer digital art because it's portable and I like having multiple layers. In most of my artworks I use over 5 layers. My rendered pieces still take anywhere from 3-6 hours to complete. I sometimes do traditional art but I don't have the time for it.

I draw with an Apple Pencil. I have a 4th Generation 11-inch iPad. I also own an XPPen Artist 12 Line Friends tablet.

I use Procreate and Clip Studio Paint for digital art. For animation I use Toonsquid. I like to use 11 FPS.

Well, I never thought I'd like math, science, or any of that until I was exposed to it. My school kept giving me small projects to work on until I reached my junior year, where I got serious about engineering. I found that I could use my art experience to make learning these subjects easier. It made ideas easier to communicate when I joined team 3598. So now I love engineering, I want this as my career.
